This role offers a mix of remote and onsite work, with 2-3 days a week based at our Welwyn Garden City office. The team currently operates over a seven day a week rota and covers the majority of our Contact Centre opening hours 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 8am – 6pm Sunday 10am to 4pm What will you be doing? You'll be providing technical and application support for our retail estate, covering PayPoint terminals across 30,000 sites, including the flagship PayPoint One, PayPoint Mini and its EPOS system, as well as the back office platform. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing technical and application support to our retail estate. Implementing changes and resolving incidents raised by retailers and other departments through our ticketing system. Identifying root causes and escalating issues to our 3rd line support teams for long-term solutions. Assisting with system integrations and new installations in live environments. What would we like from you? We value excellent customer service skills, effective troubleshooting abilities, and flexibility to handle changes at short notice. Experience in a Windows-based 24/7 environment, including 1st/2nd line support, is essential. Additionally, the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff is crucial. It would be great if you already have… Experience with transaction processing systems, IIS Server knowledge, understanding of ITIL, transact SQL query knowledge, or Splunk knowledge would be advantageous.
