Our specialist SEN branch in Norwich is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students aged 6-16 at an established setting in Great Yarmouth. All pupils have an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) with a primary focus on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), and come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with pupils who have Autism and exhibit challenging behaviours.
* Provide customized interventions tailored to individual needs.
* Modify lesson plans to accommodate a wide range of learning abilities.
* Encourage positive behaviours and support personal development.
* Follow EHCP guidelines to ensure effective student support.
