The Role and Responsibilities
As the Head of Diagnostic Imaging, you will work in close collaboration with other Heads of Service and report directly to the Clinical Director. The main purpose of this role is to manage, support, and develop the Diagnostic Imaging department, ensuring that the highest standards of excellence are maintained across all activities.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing image acquisition and reporting across a range of imaging modalities, participating in rounds, and supervising residents. The practice boasts advanced imaging technology, including an on-site MRI (Phillips 1.5T), CT (64-slice Siemens Somatom Perspective), two Ultrasound machines (GE S8 and S7), Fluoroscopy (Philips Zenition 50), and both stationary and mobile FUJI DR digital radiography systems.
The well-being of their team is a top priority, and the practice promotes a collaborative and supportive working environment. You will be working closely with clinicians, making joint decisions and managing cases, while handling an exciting and varied caseload.
