We have been retained to identify a Market Intelligence and Strategic Development Director for a fantastic global business working in healthcare, medical devices, or med-tech.
You will be working with a great M&A Team and be responsible for delivering market research and analysis in the med-tech/medical devices space, helping to build and maintain a pipeline of potential targets as well as using insights and research to help build a strategy by identifying new markets and competitive landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Be a Market Expert: Conduct in-depth market research, including primary and secondary research, to identify and evaluate emerging market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential acquisition targets in the medical device or medical technology/healthcare space.
* Develop Winning Strategies: Analyse market data, identify key growth drivers and opportunities and assess competitive threats. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets.
* Build Compelling Business Cases: Formulate strategic perspectives, prioritise opportunities, and develop compelling business cases for inorganic growth initiatives.
* Cultivate Relationships: Initiate contact with potential acquisition targets, gather early-stage learnings, and foster cultivation pathways.
* Influence Key Decisions: Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders, including sector leaders, M&A experts, and senior management.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Develop and improve standard work processes for market analysis, opportunity identification, target cultivation, and M&A opportunity assessment.
Qualifications and Experience
* Significant experience from one of the top consulting firms covering Healthcare or relevant experience in a similar role within the healthcare / medical device space.
* Proven experience in market research, strategic analysis, or business development within the healthcare industry.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
* A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for driving growth.
