We have an exciting opportunity for a senior occupational therapist to join our dynamic Emergency Department and Urgent Care Therapy team.
You will take a lead role in the advanced assessment of patients, who may have complex and/or chronic presentation, to determine therapy treatment and facilitate timely discharge planning. The post holder will also support junior staff members and students, with active involvement in service developments.
The post holder will also undertake a coordinating role in the delivery of the therapy service within their specific clinical area and wider department on a day-to-day basis. This will include the provision of a 7-day service with extended hours and shift patterns.
