Job description: Senior Maintenance Excellence Manager Mobile based role with frequent travel across MMI sites within the UK Monday Friday Due to internal progression, we are recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Excellence Managerto join us. This is a field based position with regular travel across the UK to multiple sites. The purpose of the Senior Maintenance Excellence Manager is to service and repair all machinery in area of responsibility, whilst delivering cost effective asset care through the implementation of the Maintenance Excellence Roadmap. Your challenge in the role of Senior Maintenance Excellence Manager: Develop and drive the annual implementation plan for Maintenance Excellence Roadmap Implement and effectively establish key engineering processes, in line with Maintenance Excellence roadmap requirements Facilitate annual Criticality Matrix reviews Develop enhanced usage of the site CMMS Develop a 'top loss' analysis culture utilising site operational measures Drive implementation of the Inventory Management Plan Support implementation of site Autonomous Maintenance Developing standard setup routines for critical equipment. Drive utilisation of Root Cause Analysis techniques Develop line performance improvement plans based on top loss analysis Review maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve cost effectiveness RCA/5 why analysis/problem solving techniques. Support the site and departmental 5s programme. Drive and support Reliability Centred Maintenance/FMECA activities Senior Maintenance Excellence Manager Responsibilities: Drive planned and reactive works through weekly planning cycle People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues Sponsor of Operational Excellence principles in everything that we do. Delivers local site asset improvement projects to budget. Encourage engineering based OE projects. Utilises all available opportunities, enabling others to improve the way we do things Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives and knows how current performance impacts the bottom line Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Maintenance Excellence Manager is somebody who is OPEX trained with experience in a similar CI position within FMCG, with a desire to implement change and a strong team player.
