Are you a passionate and enthusiastic PE teacher looking for a new opportunity? A well-regarded independent secondary school in Fareham is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join their team from April, working 24.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports.
* Inspire and engage students in physical education and the importance of an active lifestyle.
* Plan and implement lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Contribute to the school's extra-curricular sports programme.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teaching and learning strategies in PE.
* Recognise and support the diverse cultures and nationalities within the school environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Ability to prioritise workloads and work proactively using own initiative.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students and staff.
* Passion for sports and the ability to inspire enthusiasm for learning.
* Confident and experienced in delivering a range of sports.
* Good team player with a willingness to contribute beyond the classroom.
* Knowledge of best practices in PE teaching and learning strategies.
* Professional understanding of students' educational needs.
Minimum Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification relevant to the teaching of sport.
* Physical UK Education teaching experience, both practical and classroom-based.
* Commitment to extra-curricular activities and developing students' skills beyond lessons.
