Salary: Circa £33,500 per annum + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

What is the Role? As an O&M Engineering graduate joining SSE within our Thermal business you will be at the forefront of building a better world of flexible thermal energy for future generations. Graduates will follow a specialist pathway where they will work with experts in their specialism, gaining exposure across the Thermal business for the duration of their 2 year graduate programme. Graduates based will begin their programme based at one of our operational sites and will expect to gain an operational role upon successful completion of the graduate programme.

We have 2 roles available, requiring the following degree disciplines. You'll have a minimum of a 2:2 degree by September, 2025.
1. O&M Petroleum - petroleum degree discipline required
2. O&M Mechanical - mechanical engineering degree required
As the organisation grows and becomes more international, our graduates need to be highly flexible in order to embrace the changes and keep up with the fast-paced evolution of the business. Our graduates are agile in their thinking and seek to address knowledge gaps. You should be comfortable working to and setting stretching individual targets and using your own initiative to overcome challenges.
