If so, this role could be the perfect next step for you The South Getting More Help (GMH) team, part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), supports children and young people aged 5-18 across City and South Oxfordshire. We provide assessment, formulation, and highly specialized treatment for complex mental health presentations. This role offers the chance to be a key member of the senior clinical team, contributing to shaping the vision for the service and leading its operational delivery. The service is undergoing significant transformation, and we need someone enthusiastic, proactive, and hardworking to help drive this change. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but we are equally looking for core and transferable skills. Training and support will be provided. The post is advertised as full-time, and based in Abingdon with some days working virtually. Main duties of the job The GMH team offers opportunities for leadership training, quality improvement, and regular supervision, both individually and in group settings with other managers. As the team undergoes significant transformation following the introduction of the Thrive model, several new posts, including those with partner agencies, are available. The service supports professional growth through service development, evaluation, teaching, and training. As the manager, you will: Take responsibility for all aspects of service delivery and operations for the South GMH Team. Work as part of the leadership team to provide a high-quality, responsive service for children and young people in Oxfordshire. Deliver clinical assessments and treatment for young people with mental health conditions. Foster a culture of integrated services and ensure effective partnership working across localities. Assist in the modernisation and redesign of CAMHS services, leading key projects. Build strong interagency relationships to support integrated care pathways and locality working.
