Due to continued success, our impressive global manufacturing client wishes to recruit an experienced People Advisor/HR Advisor. Based in South Belfast, our client is fast-paced, well-established, and well-respected as one of the world’s largest employers in their market.
The People Advisor is a new, permanent opportunity and an addition to the existing, busy People Team.
The successful People Advisor will act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, offering expert advice and guidance on the full range of employee lifecycle and HR queries. The People Advisor will also have the opportunity to assist with interesting global HR projects.
This is an incredibly busy and varied People/HR Advisor role and culture and team fit is incredibly important. The People/HR Advisor must be commercial, proactive, and passionate about HR. The Role
1. Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of HR projects
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive milestones and deliverables
3. Provide regular updates and reports on project status
4. Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
5. Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions
6. Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs
7. Manage and maintain the HRIS
8. Identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation to improve HR processes
9. Lead initiatives to standardize HR processes across global operations
10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
The Person
1. CIPD qualified
2. Minimum of 2-3 years HR Advisor/Officer/Generalist experience
3. Exposure to compensation & benefits and HRIS
4. Proven experience in supporting HR projects and process improvement initiatives
5. Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
6. Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office
7. Experience of working within a fast-paced, commercial environment
8. Excellent communication and influencing skills, energized, driven, and results-focused
9. Excellent organization and prioritization skills
