About the Role:
The Associate Product Marketing Manager plays a critical role in driving upsell and cross-sell initiatives across our suite of AI-enabled digital experience products, including CDP, Personalization, Search, and Commerce. This role is responsible for release marketing, ensuring customers are informed of and adopt new features. Simultaneously, they will collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that drive the adoption of complementary solutions for customers already using our primary products. Additionally, they will partner with customer success to gather and showcase success stories, creating tangible proof points that demonstrate the value of a fully integrated solution.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Support (20-30%)
1. Go-to-Market Execution - Assist in the implementation of GTM strategies for product releases and seasonal launches ensuring alignment with positioning and messaging set by senior team members.
2. Market & Customer Research - Collaborate with the Market Intelligence team on competitive analysis and market research and the gathering of customer insights from direct interactions with customers to build a strong understanding of both the market and the customer to support all release efforts.
3. Customer Marketing Adoption, Upsell, and Cross Sell support - Work closely with PMM leadership, Product Management, Sales and Customer Marketing on the development of strategic programs to support adoption, upsell, and cross-sell.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination - Work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Marketing and Success teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment for season launches and ad-hoc releases.
Tactical Responsibilities (70-80%)
1. Release Marketing - Own the execution of release marketing activities, including communicating feature updates, and ensuring internal teams are prepared.
2. Customer Marketing Collaboration - Collaborate closely with Customer Marketing to ensure features are marketed to and adopted by customers.
3. Enablement - Develop collateral, such as feature comparison sheets, FAQs, use cases, and customer success stories to help sales and customer-facing teams effectively communicate new product updates.
4. Demo Development & Delivery - Assist with cultivating ideas for realistic use cases for demos, collaborating closely with sales engineering teams. Must also be able to deliver foundational demos for their product and ideally all products in the portfolio.
5. Customer Interactions - Interact with customers in early access programs to develop authentic use cases, build customer success stories, and ensure we are speaking in the voice of the customer.
6. Content Creation - Assist in writing blog posts, product one-pagers, and in-app messaging to drive awareness and adoption.
7. Launch Project Management - Track timelines, coordinate launch activities, and manage cross-functional deliverables for product releases.
8. Performance Tracking - Monitor product adoption, customer engagement, and campaign performance to optimize future launches.
What You Need to Succeed:
1. 2 - 4 years experience in product marketing in a B2B SaaS marketing technology company
2. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex product features into customer-friendly messaging
3. Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and coordinate across teams
4. Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success
5. Ability to track, measure, and report on the success of launch activities
