About the Role Role Overview: As a Senior DevOps Engineer at KX, you will play a key role in automating deployments, maintaining CI/CD workflows, and managing cloud and Kubernetes infrastructures. This position demands hands-on experience with GitOps, advanced scripting, and strong cloud expertise to ensure the seamless deployment and scalability of our applications and services. Responsibilities Utilise GitOps tools like ArgoCD for automating deployments of applications and test environments. Deploy and maintain ArgoCD applications and develop utilities to query ArgoCD API as part of CI automation. Create and maintain CI/CD workflows for automating application deployments and DevOps tasks using tools like GitLab CI. Develop reusable CI templates and scripts (BASH/Python) for scalable and efficient deployment processes. Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot workloads on Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and use Helm and Helmfile for deployment. Implement vClusters on Kubernetes, supporting advanced multi-tenancy configurations. Script using Python and BASH and utilise YAML and JSON parsers (e.g., yq, jq) to handle complex DevOps tasks. Integrate and automate using AWS CLI in automation scripts, maintaining best practices for cloud infrastructure management. Qualifications Requirements: Hands-on experience with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD) and CI tools (e.g., GitLab CI) for streamlined automation. Strong scripting skills, particularly in Python and BASH, and proficiency with YAML and JSON parsers. Solid knowledge of Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred) and experience with Helm and Helmfile for application deployment. Proven experience with AWS or other cloud providers, with familiarity using AWS CLI in automation scripts. Ability to develop and implement CI/CD pipelines and automate processes across DevOps environments.
