Base pay range
* Epsom, London, Peterborough, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow bases
* Vital role working across Water, Aviation, Defence, and Energy sectors
* 40 hour week
* Initial 6-month contract with possible extensions
About the Client:
Our client is a forward-thinking organisation dedicated to leveraging technology to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency. They are seeking a Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations engineer to support their engineering teams with a vital function on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure.
You will play a leading role in technical design delivery, working closely with end clients in a consultative capacity, managing budgets and transformation projects, and maintaining quality standards throughout.
Minimum Requirements:
* Chartered Engineer, ideally with training in hazardous area determination and risk assessment from a recognised body.
* Experience of the role of leading DSEAR in design delivery, ideally within the water industry, or a related process industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of the application of DSEAR, including risk assessment and area classification in accordance with EN 60079-10 and IP 15.
* Strong understanding of DSEAR legislation, ATEX directives and CDM.
