We have an opportunity to join Sheffield City Council as a Project Support Officer in the Housing & Neighbourhood Service that manages our 39,000 council homes and an ever-growing private rented sector market. There are two permanent full-time Project Support Officer vacancies available.

The positions will be based in the Fire Safety Team. The postholders will predominantly be responsible for supporting the service through providing essential project support to ensure the successful delivery of projects relating to Fire Safety within the Sheffield Council Housing Stock.
The role will support the Fire Safety Teams; Service Manager, Operations and Development Manager and Project Managers to deliver both individual and portfolios of projects across Capital Delivery.
Experience and knowledge about Fire Safety relating to Housing is not essential but previous experience in project management/a good understanding of project management would be beneficial.
The role is full time (37 hours). The post is based at Solpro Business Park, Attercliffe, Sheffield but there will also be an opportunity to work remotely at home.
