To act as a consultant resource to the Gannel complex care and dementiapsychiatryservice,includingindividualcaseworkwithselectedpatientsreferredfrom the multidisciplinary teams and by consultant colleagues, together withprovidingbroaderadvicetocolleaguesinpsychiatryandotherdisciplines.
The post-holderwillprovideoutpatient and community basedservicesasneededincludinghomevisits.TheconsultantmustbeapprovedunderSection12 of the Mental Health Act 1983 and be an Approved Clinician.
