As a Core Clinical Fellow, you will work closely with our experienced surgical team, participating in a range of clinical activities and contributing to patient care. This position provides an excellent platform for professional growth and offers exposure to various surgical procedures and techniques.
The Trust Doctor post at Wexham Park Hospital will provide experience of emergency and elective urology care with on-calls in Urology and General Surgery. The post will be supervised with opportunities to develop clinical and surgical skills, while improving experience of teaching, quality improvement, research and leadership.

The role will involve:
• working with the consultant and registrar to review and treat Urology inpatients at Wexham Park Hospital.
• Opportunities to attend clinics, diagnostic lists (flexible cystoscopy, prostate biopsy and urodynamics) and theatre lists
• an average 1:9 full shift rota covering urology and general surgery
• Work under consultant supervision, with an educational development plan to improve knowledge, clinical skills, teaching and quality improvement experience.
Note:
There is No Banding supplement for this role. For the unsocial hours that you work, you will be paid according to the rota and the generic work schedule.
