An Accounts Assistant is needed for a temporarily at a live events company in East London. The role is needed until the end of January 2025 and they are office based 5 days. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for: Management of the accounts payable process and the main point of contact for queries Processing weekly show income invoices and ensuring the amounts received reconcile Maintaining and preparing bank reconciliations Monitor accounts receivable, ensuring collections are made on time and managing overdue accounts Management of the PO process Management of expenses and credit card process Assisting in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns Processing weekly payment run Supporting the wider team as required The ideal Accounts Assistant will: Have 3 years of Accounts Payable experience Have some level of Accounts Receivable/ debt collecting experience (ideal) Have used a range of different softwares and able to pick new ones up quickly Be pro-active in their approach to work Have strong communication skills If this is the role for you - apply now Should you require any support or assistance, please contact your local Marks Sattin office.
