Job Title: Account Manager

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with customers (businesses seeking finance), suppliers (organizations providing the necessary products for business growth), and lenders (institutions offering various financial products). You will play a key role in driving new business and upselling to existing clients, taking ownership of the entire sales process, from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
We are looking for someone eager to make an impact in the UK SME funding sector by generating significant deal flow through the company’s funding and savings platform.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive new sales opportunities
* Generate leads through research and prospecting
* Respond to inbound enquiries from potential clients
* Build and maintain systems that support relationships with clients, suppliers, and lenders
* Provide accurate reports and performance statistics
* Handle administrative tasks to support clients, suppliers, and lenders
* Stay updated on all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
* Continuously improve skills through training and coaching sessions
Requirements:
* Self-motivated and proactive with a strong drive for success
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong IT and customer service abilities
* Knowledge of loans and asset finance products is desirable (but training will be provided)
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decisions
* Understanding of the risks associated with your role and its impact on customers, the business, and yourself
