We’re looking for a People Analyst to join our client based in York, North Yorkshire, playing a key role in analysing and interpreting HR and L&D data. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with data, can identify gaps, and can effectively communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 10-minute scheduled breaks. The position offers a salary of £35,000 (dependant on experience), along with hybrid and work-from-home options, enhanced holiday entitlement, and a range of other great benefits.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Interpreting HR & L&D data – spotting trends, identifying gaps, and presenting insights to support decision-making.
* Extracting and analysing data from HR systems to identify inconsistencies and areas for improvement.
* Communicating data findings in a clear, simple way to non-technical stakeholders.
* Generating reports and visuals on key HR metrics, including headcount, retention, and employee satisfaction.
* Supporting HR projects, such as pay modelling, benefits reviews, and system improvements.
* Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with statutory requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
* 6–12 months’ experience in a people data-focused role.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* A passion for working with HR and L&D data.
* Ability to interpret and communicate data insights to non-technical teams.
* Experience working with HRIS systems and data extraction.
* Power BI experience is an advantage.
* Desirable: Previous experience with system implementation.
