Finance Analyst - Process Re-engineering Specialist
Search is working with our client to recruit a Process Engineering Specialist to work within their Finance Outsourcing Governance & Control function.
With increased regulatory focus on Outsourcing Governance, this role involves diverse tasks requiring strong communication, documentation, attention to detail, critical thinking, and experience in developing and implementing new process controls and efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
* Identify, analyse, and assess current operational processes within the team and improve controls.
* Maintain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Create and maintain training materials, formal procedures, guidance documents, process flows, and quick reference cards to support change initiatives.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, maintain project scope, and ensure adherence to plans and timelines for process enhancements.
* Assist process improvement efforts by providing guidance, support, and training to team members.
* Attend workshops, meetings, and training sessions to communicate changes and foster understanding of new and existing controls, processes, and regulatory updates.
* Monitor and evaluate the impact of process changes, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for further enhancements.
* Work closely with cross-location team members to ensure alignment and integration of change and process improvement initiatives.
* Provide a foundation to connect multiple workstreams across the Global team and ensure key considerations are discussed and agreed upon as part of project scoping, closure, and lessons learned communications.
* Manage agendas for specific project closure meetings, Global Manager meetings, and maintain the completeness and accuracy of the Global team deliverables calendar.
Skills Required:
* Interest in assessing and implementing process improvements, efficiencies, and controls.
* Effective communication skills - clear, concise, and proficient in articulating regulatory updates and information.
* Good analytical skills and critical thinking - able to break down problems and suggest practical solutions.
* Ability to coordinate work with all levels of a Global team across multiple locations.
* Ability to influence decision-making at a Management level.
* Excellent attention to detail - effective in accurately detailing key process and control steps.
* Understanding the importance of maintaining completeness and accuracy of process and procedure documentation.
* Effective problem-solving skills demonstrating initiative and creativity.
* Strong technical skills
