Are you the right person for the job?
Education & Experience:
* Relevant technical qualifications (mechanical/electrical).
* Prior experience in the print or packaging sector (preferred).
Skills & Competencies:
* Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
* Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Full, clean driving licence (ability to tow a trailer is a bonus).
Desirable Skills:
* Hands-on experience with print finishing and packaging machinery.
* Familiarity with network-based remote support and software troubleshooting.
* Ability to stay calm and resolve technical issues under pressure while maintaining a customer-first approach.
What will your role look like?
* Provide remote and onsite technical support for our print finishing and packaging machinery ranges.
* Conduct machinery demonstrations, installations, and customer training sessions.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software faults, minimising downtime.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional customer service at every step.
* Collaborate with overseas manufacturers to implement technical solutions.
* Support the sales team at trade shows, customer events, and other promotional activities.
* Maintain and manage vehicle parts stock, ensuring maximum first-time fixes.
