Job Description The physical security operations team is the primary interface with all stakeholders and ensures physical security requirements and expectations are met with high quality, industry standard programs and services. Oracle is now looking for a security professional to join our team. Oracle utilizes internal owned data center locations and third-party external data centers managed by co-location service providers. This position will collaborate with all stakeholder security teams to understand security risk requirements and present key insights to stakeholders. Additionally, this position will be part of a team responsible for the products and services within the GPS security operations line of business, with specialised functional expertise in the area of data center operational security and physical security risk assessments. The qualified candidate will report directly to the Director, Global Data Center Security Operations & Systems who is based in the USA. This is a new position with an EMEA wide remit. Periodic regional and global travel will be required. This is an individual contributor (IC) role and the position has no direct reports. REQUIREMENTS: - Must have a minimum of 5 years of industrial security experience, combined with a minimum of 2 years of experience ideally within a physical security/data center operational environment. - Strong understanding of industry specific legislations and compliance requirements as they apply to physical security operations in general and specific to data center security. - Experience of crisis management as it relates to physical security at corporate level. - A working knowledge of various security technology resources including access control/CCTV systems. Proficient with all basic Microsoft computer software programs and communications techniques. - Ability to communicate and articulate with a high level of proficiency in both the written and verbal format at all levels up to and including senior leadership. - Proficient in Excel, Word, Windows, and Outlook - Adept at customer service skills. - Must be a team player comfortable with working with individuals from different cultures, backgrounds and experiences. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - Ability to show experience in above required essential functions is mandatory. - Experience in security risk assessments or security auditing is desirable. - BS/BA Degree desirable but not mandatory. - Industry certifications are preferred, but not required. Career Level - IC3 Responsibilities - Provide physical security risk analysis and assessments to ensure data centers locations meet security standards and provide recommendations through vulnerability and gap analysis. - Performs risk assessment to ensure physical security compliance with diverse auditory requirements including, but not limited to, SSAE 18, ISO, and PCI. - Deliver both written and oral briefings tailored to key stakeholders. - Collaborates closely with key stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure risk analysis and products are mapped to prioritised company assets and risks. - Completes associated administrative tasks and tracks metrics & KPIs - Performs additional functions as directed by the client as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives. - This position will assist in the development of operational strategy, as well as participate as part of a collaborative team to develop processes and products that will provide stakeholders insight and analysis of risk in order to formulate strategic direction. Conduct analysis of business needs and identify programs & services required to meet those needs. - There will be a requirement to travel internationally up to 25%. - Performs additional functions as directed by the Director GPS Global Data Center Security Operations & Systems as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives.
