Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Accountant to join our UK accounts payable team, to ensure compliance with all accounts payable activities, including accurate posting, VAT compliance, and sound working capital management. This role will be located in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham with hybrid working. Kiwa is a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification. Our company motto is we create trust. About the role
Payables Accounting
1. Processing purchase invoices in accordance with the appropriate approvals
2. Support Purchase Order and Purchase Invoice enquiries to ensure compliance and efficiency
3. Process payment card and expenses transaction into the ledgers
4. Support with regular supplier payment runs
5. Perform supplier statement reconciliations
6. Support the management of the AP Mailbox and investigate/resolve supplier queries
Ledger activities
1. Manage changes to the Supplier Master
2. Prepare and/or post journals such as accruals and prepayments
3. Support the completion of ONS returns for the UK Group
4. Support the delivery of internal and external audit documentation (such as invoice copies, proof of supplier payment etc.)
5. Support the wider Finance team and any future Finance system testing

1. The ability to deliver to tight timescales and deadlines consistently
2. Excellent day to day planning and organisational skills
3. Dynamism, aptitude for problem solving and teamwork, practicality, reliability, flexibility, and results oriented
4. Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal relations at all levels
5. The ability to engage and influence colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.
6. Sound bookkeeping knowledge
What can you expect from us in return?
1. £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
