Job Role: Learning Support Assistant
Hours: 26.67 hours per week Monday - Friday, 39 weeks per year (Term time plus inset days)
Contract Type: Part time, Permanent
Salary: Scale 3, Points 5 - 6 (Actual Salary £15319 - £15562)

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our Learning Support Faculty. You should be approachable, patient and understanding to support identified students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum.

• Good organisational skills Duties involved:
• Promote positive pupil behaviour in line with school policies and help keep pupils on task
• Interact with, and support pupils, according to individual needs and skills
• Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to pupils’ responses as appropriate
