Protocol education are currently seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join the team in a Baby Room at a nursery in East Central Bristol, where you will help create a safe and nurturing environment for our youngest learners.
Role Overview:
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in the Baby Room, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and learning experiences for children aged 6 months up. This is a crucial stage in early childhood development, and you will play an integral role in supporting the babies’ emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based learning. You will work closely with a supportive team to create a stimulating and secure environment for all babies in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and education for babies 6 months plus, in a warm and nurturing environment
* Observe and support the development of babies through play and age-appropriate activities
* Help babies develop essential skills, including socialization, communication, and motor skills
* Create and maintain detailed records of children’s progress and development
* Work closely with parents to ensure the needs of each child are met and share regular updates on their development
* Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
* Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment
* Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating baby room that supports the children’s learning
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent)
* Previous experience working with babies in an early years setting
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* A genuine passion for working with babies and supporting their early development
* Ability to observe, assess, and plan activities for babies to foster their growth
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this)
