This role will involve managing the accounts for various clients, with responsibilities covering sales and purchase ledger management, reconciliations, VAT reporting, and month and year-end duties. Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper
Client Accounts: Manage the financial records for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Sales & Purchase Ledger: Oversee the day-to-day operations of sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all financial data is up to date and accurate.
VAT Reporting: Accurately prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner.
Month & Year-End: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
Banking: Handle all banking-related tasks, including deposits, payments, and reconciliation of accounts.
