As a Marketing Apprentice you will join our Web Operations Team which creates and improves process, reporting and governance. This enables Sage.com teams to efficiently collaborate, deliver work and improve Sage.com performance. This results in reduced time-to-market and increased efficiencies and cross-team collaboration. We work very collaboratively with many teams across the business. We work in a fast paced environment with a focus on innovative thinking and problem solving. This is a hybrid role - three days per week in our Newcastle office Key Responsibilities What will the programme look like? This role is to assist with the governance of Sage.com. This includes process creation and maintenance, reporting on SLA and KPIs and knowledge management. You will be responsible for communicating with teams, and creating guidance and training material. This role will lead smaller web projects and assist with larger initiatives. Your focus will be supporting the Senior Web Operations Manager in improving how teams collaborate to maintain and optimise Sage.com. You will be working with Workfront (project management tool), Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerBI), IBM Blueworks (Process creation tool), Roadmunk (roadmapping tool) with the overall goal of improving Sage.com team collaboration. You will also focus on Sage.com team communication, guidance and training. Summary of your Day to Day • Managing smaller Web Operations projects with an opportunity to aid on larger projects • Understanding Workfront and how to optimise the Sage.com change request process • Helping with process creation and maintenance • Developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform (reporting and guidance) • Developing and maintaining an intranet presence for Sage.com teams • Communications for sage.com functional teams, stakeholders, and the Web Experience Management (WEM) community What will make me successful • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Keen interest in digital marketing • Logical and creative thinking skills • Analytical and problem solving skills • Problem solver with good attention to detail • Passionate about working with people and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues • Enthusiastic, flexible, with a can-do approach. • An interest in emerging technologies and products • Expected to be proactive in own learning and development • You will need five 9-4 GCSE passes (including Maths and English) to thrive in this role, and to qualify for the apprenticeship you will be enrolled on to.
