Electrical Field Service Engineer required for a pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer based in the Liverpool area. To work within the Service Team, attending customer sites globally to assist with preventative maintenance, commissioning/installations, IQ/OQ or emergency call-out visits. The role also covers executing the Pre-FAT along with the FAT of equipment. The role will include global travel, approximately 40%-50% depending on projects, typically between 1-2 weeks at a time.
Electrical Field Service Engineer Job Overview
1. To attend customers' facilities as and when needed to carry out installations & IQ/OQ.
2. To assist with Pre-FAT and FAT before following the equipment out to customer sites.
3. To assist with commissioning of equipment.
4. To assist with preventative maintenance.
5. Assisting EC&I team with project field wiring/testing/build when not out on-site.
6. To respond to emergency breakdown call-out visits.
7. To ensure that the duties undertaken are compliant with the requirements of the company's Environmental Health & Safety Policy and ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System.
Electrical Field Service Engineer Job Requirements
1. Degree (or similar) qualification in electrical engineering.
2. Significant experience in a similar role.
3. Knowledge of Siemens HMI/PLCs (Siemens 7 & RS logic).
4. Familiar with CAD.
5. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry (desirable).
6. Ability to deliver a high level of customer care and develop long-standing customer relationships.
7. Excellent communication skills.
Electrical Field Service Engineer Salary & Benefits
Salary dependent on experience but likely £45k-£50k. Daily allowance while off-site £50 a day; overtime would be 1.5x Monday to Saturday and 2x for a Sunday, after normal working hours have been completed.
