LTF Recruitment is seeking a patient and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our partner primary school in the CV3 area of Coventry. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about promoting positive behaviour and supporting children with SEN. As a key member of the school's support team, you'll work closely with students needing additional assistance to thrive academically and socially. This long-term position comes with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 support to pupils, maintaining clear and consistent boundaries.
Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies that improve behavioural outcomes.
Foster active engagement and participation in classroom activities.
Deliver targeted interventions to enhance students' learning, wellbeing, and personal growth.What we are looking for:
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree.
Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally within Key Stage 1.
Additional qualifications, such as TeamTeach or Positive Behaviour Management training, are highly desirable.
Proven experience managing challenging behaviours with a strong grasp of behaviour management techniques.
Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).Why Join Us?
