Project Coordinator
Location: Shrewsbury
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Up to £40,000 – Depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

We are supporting a well-established, growing business in Shrewsbury looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to support the operations team with driving the pace and progress of multiple projects, ensuring efficient, speedy, and quality delivery of customer orders from order receipt through to successful installation at customer sites. Although you will be coordinating projects at customer sites across the UK, this role will be based at the client's head office in Shrewsbury.
This will be a key appointment within the business, and you will be working as part of a small, but growing and successful team renowned in their market for quality innovation and rapid growth, already exceeding their financial turnover targets for the years ahead.
Responsibilities:
* Driving multiple customer projects for customer sites throughout the UK
* Ensuring all customer site preparation and setups are complete
* Liaising with manufacturers to ensure effective materials and components availability for project milestones
* Ensuring all site sub-contract services are performing as required
* Completing all technical checks for sites
* Ensuring health & safety and toolbox talks are completed
* Attending pre-start and other site meetings (normally via video call)
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a Project Coordinator / Project Manager role within an engineering, construction, or manufacturing business, where you have been responsible for coordinating moving parts or managing multiple installations
* Able to interpret and read technical engineering drawings
* An understanding of fabrication processes would be ideal
* You will be a driven, goal-oriented person who is a natural communicator capable of positively influencing project pace and progress.
