Start date: Summer 2025, full time, fixed term for 12 months, Swindon, hybrid model (2 days per week onsite: Tues, Wed, or Thurs; rest home office)
Join RWE Offshore Wind for a Year in Industry placement and gain invaluable insight into this innovative sector. We’re one of the largest developers of offshore wind globally, with 10 operational offshore wind farms across the UK and multiple development projects in the pipeline.
About the role:
* Gain valuable knowledge and experience in:
o working within the Document Management function for Offshore projects
o the influence on project budget, time, and quality requirements
o ensuring traceability for all documentation during all phases of the project, including handover and operations
* Actively support the team with:
o processing, quality checking, tracking, and reporting for Offshore project documentation
o the provision and receipt of data and communications to/from contractors
o the reporting of progress to project managers
Job requirements and experience:
* You are an enrolled student in a business or IT-related degree.
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement.
* You are on track to graduate with a 2.2 or higher.
* You have very good verbal and written communication skills.
* You can coordinate your own workload and meet tight deadlines.
* You are comfortable working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders.
* You are open to travel to other sites if needed (travel expenses covered).
