ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our finance team with key accounting tasks. This role will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, generating sales invoices, raising purchase orders, and assisting with finance administration. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and smooth day-to-day accounting operations. WHAT WILL I DO? Process purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the accounting system. Generate sales invoices and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation. Raise purchase orders and coordinate approvals as needed. Assist in finance administration, including document management and data entry. Support accounts payable and receivable functions. Help prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Assist with other ad hoc accounting and finance tasks as required. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting. Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Xero. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Strong spreadsheet skills.
