We’re looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor (Acquisitions & Disposals) to join our clients team, a large borough based in West London. This role involves leading on property acquisitions, disposals, and development opportunities to maximise asset value and align with the council’s long-term strategy. Key Details: Contract until May 2025 (Likely to be extended) Hybrid working Rates: £425.00 per day PAYE / £537.24 per day Umbrella Your Role: Lead the acquisitions and disposals strategy, ensuring maximum financial return. Identify and secure development opportunities, optimising the council’s property assets. Manage complex property transactions, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals. Conduct valuations and feasibility studies, providing expert financial and legal advice. Negotiate property agreements, ensuring best-value outcomes for the council. Work closely with external consultants, developers, and legal teams, managing stakeholder relationships. Ensure compliance with property legislation, planning policies, and procurement regulations. Prepare and present reports, supporting executive decision-making. What We’re Looking For: MRICS qualification (or equivalent professional accreditation). Extensive experience in property acquisitions, disposals, and valuations. Strong understanding of development viability, market trends, and investment strategies. Proven ability to negotiate and manage high-value property transactions. Knowledge of property law, planning policy, and local government frameworks. Excellent financial acumen, with experience in investment appraisals and feasibility studies. Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills. Why Apply?
