About the Role: Deliver engaging and reflective Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering Christian doctrine, scripture, ethics, and a range of world religions. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, discussion, and personal reflection on faith and ethical issues. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and theological reflections, providing constructive feedback to support their spiritual and academic growth. Contribute to the broader ethical and moral education of students within the school. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Studies or Theology. A strong understanding of Christian theology and the secondary RS curriculum, with a broad knowledge of other world religions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students in meaningful discussions about faith, ethics, and diverse belief systems.
