About the Role - English Teacher
The school is looking for someone to take a year-long maternity absence teaching English to commence immediately, focusing on Key Stage 3 and 4. It is a contract until July initially, with the successful applicant hopefully moving to a more permanent contract in the summer. You will be joining a department that shares resources and subsequently shares success as they are considered among the strongest teams in the school.
Responsibilities:
* Teach English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
* Participate in the department's resource-sharing and collaborative success initiatives.
* Engage in continuous professional development and mentoring programs.
Qualifications:
* Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
* CV must cover full work history.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
