We are currently seeking a detail oriented and reliable Archiving Clerk to join our team. This position involves managing the closing and archiving of both paper and electronic files to ensure appropriate storage and retrieval. The Role The Archiving Clerk will be responsible for the repetitive tasks of organising, closing, and archiving both physical and digital files in an accurate and efficient manner. This is a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our client files, and it requires someone who is diligent, thorough, and organised. Key Responsibilities: Closely follow procedures to close files and archive them (both paper and electronic). Maintain accurate records of archived files and ensure they are easily retrievable. Safeguard confidential information by ensuring secure storage and organisation of all files. Perform regular checks to ensure the physical storage area is organised and complies with the firm's archiving policy. Manage and track the movement of files for efficient retrieval and future use. Assist in the digitisation of paper files as required. Skills & Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to follow repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy. Comfortable working with both paper and electronic filing systems. Excellent time management and task prioritisation abilities. No previous experience required, but familiarity with filing systems is a plus.
