SEND Teaching Assistant (Part Time/Temporary) Lincoln £85 - £100 per day is depending on experience and/or qualifications) The role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team Vision for Education. As a SEND TA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure that each student’s individual needs are met and that they receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This role is ideal for someone with experience working with students with a range of needs, including learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and emotional or behavioural challenges. You will be a key part of the team, providing essential support to enable students to succeed. Requirements To be considered for the position of SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEND, is highly desirable. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. A proactive attitude, with the ability to use your initiative to support students and contribute to the wider school community. An understanding of different learning difficulties and the ability to implement appropriate strategies to support students’ needs.
