We are looking for an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Glenowen Court in Belfast.

What is the role like?
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a tailored programme of activities in support of the cognitive and physical wellbeing of our residents.
Part of the role will also be to deliver care and support services which will help to promote the welfare and wellbeing of our residents and safeguard them from harm. This includes tasks such as assisting with personal care, supporting staff with mobility issues, and ensuring that our residents' dietary needs are met.
About Glenowen Court
Situated off the main Andersonstown Road, Glenowen Court is a registered residential home for older people and those with dementia. Our staff offer round-the-clock care and engaging daily activities for all our residents.
In 2022, Glenowen Court was awarded Care Home of the Year at the Health & Social Care Awards.
What do you need to apply?
To apply for the role of Activities Coordinator, candidates are asked to detail how they meet the below criteria:
* Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, as evidenced by a relevant qualification or experience demonstrating literacy in English in an education or work environment.
* Basic numeracy skills, as evidenced by a relevant qualification or use of numeracy in an education or work environment.
* Experience of working as part of a team.
* Willingness to undertake training for the role.
* Willingness to register with NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council) as a requirement of the role.
