Salary: £30,919 per annum (35 hours per week)

Shift pattern: 5 days a week with alternate weekends. Shifts typically run from 7am-3pm, and 3pm-10pm. Sleep ins will be required.

As a growing charity, we are looking for an Assistant Service Manager to lead a team in providing valuable and caring support to adults with learning disabilities.
This position is based in Milton and works in two supported living services next door to each other, providing person-centred support to seven ladies and five gentlemen. Every day will be different – you could be supporting someone with daily tasks like cooking and shopping, helping with attending appointments, or getting involved in activities they love. Your time will be spent both supporting these adults as well as leading the team through supervisions and planning rotas. You will work closely with your manager, family members and the team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these adults.

Requirements:
* Experienced at supporting people who have learning and physical disabilities and have experience of Autism
* Able to coach and mentor staff with confidence through experience
* Proactive, dynamic and adaptable
* Experienced at mentoring and supporting staff and leading a team positively
* Able to recognise that families have an important part in the person’s life and have insightful and valuable contributions
* Driven and passionate
* Able to think outside the box
* Able to undertake administration tasks in a timely and organised manner
* Confident in following support agreements, plans and policies at all times
* Able to work as a team but also confident at lone working
* Able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
* You will be qualified, working towards or be willing to work towards, the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
* Are a driver with your own car
Please note:
Upon completing your probationary period, you will be included on an out of hours on call rota covering all services across The Edmund Trust as Tier 1 support. This rota is shared across all managers and is typically an average of 1 week in every 3 months.
