Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is a 48-year-old female living in the B98 area of Redditch who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support with all aspects of daily living for 12.5 – 18 hours per week depending on clients needs.
Main duties:
Social duties:
keep in touch and socialise with family and friends.
attend medical appointments if required.
Personal care: support with showering, teeth cleaning, dressing, hair care and assisting with rehabilitation.
Domestic duties: support with grocery shopping, cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen, laundry, support with some baking and light gardening.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Specific requirements someone with previous care & support experience. Must be a driver with own vehicle and appropriate care insurance.
Other due to the nature of this role including medical & personal care the potential employer will be considering female applicants only.
Hours of work: 12.5 hours per week to be worked over 5 days –
AM – 09:30-11:00
PM 13:00-14:00
Additional 5 hours available on some weeks.
Hours can rise to 18 hours per week depending on clients needs.
Rate of pay: £12.50 per hour for employed & £15.00 if self-employed.

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
