You’ll work as an integral part of Ipsum’s Business Development Bidding team, contributing to business growth via opportunities within a variety of utility and infrastructure lead sectors, maintaining superb communication both verbally and in writing. You’ll be liaising with multiple departments to manage and coordinate internal responses for Supplier Onboarding Questionnaires & Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, and other forms of information requested by new and existing customers. You’ll support general administrative tasks within the bidding team e.g., online procurement portals, internal document libraries, and shared inboxes. Copy checking/proofreading others’ work may also be required.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting in the completion of Standard Prequalification Documents and Supplier Questionnaires.
* Supporting the bid team on tenders, quotations, responding to emails, and gathering information used in reports and bid collateral.
* Covering for the monitoring and tracking of sales-related emails and lead generation via portals when other staff are unavailable.
* Liaising with the bid team to support the development of key content such as case studies and company information.
* Tracking critical dates such as tender submission deadlines, pre-bid meetings, award dates, and clarification meetings.
* Formatting and proofreading final bid documents.
* Assisting in the preparation of reports on bidding activity.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of templates, standard materials, and marketing information.
* Supporting the development and maintenance of marketing and business development activities as required.
* General administration as required.
Requirements:
* The role would suit a recent graduate looking to embark on a career in bidding; however, this is not essential.
* Previous experience in fast-paced administrative support is needed.
* Experience with UK public sector tendering would be an advantage.
* Proactive nature, able to work on your own initiative.
