12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave
This exciting new role will create, lead and implement strategic and tactical marketing product brand plans for our business lines - concrete, asphalt and contracting, including digital and sustainability.
Using your product marketing experience to identify opportunities - both in terms of communicating our products to deliver value for Heidelberg Materials UK and working with the relevant Commercial, operational, IT and technical teams from each business line and function.
You will report to a Marketing Manager
* Lead and work with commercial, technical, operational, IT, Data science and customer insight teams to identify new product and market opportunities
* Create, lead and implement annual marketing plans, taking a digital first approach where appropriate
* Manage the brand product areas on the Heidelberg Materials UK website - ensuring product pages are optimised for organic traffic and lead generation
* Develop and drive Heidelberg Materials UK "sustainable" branded value added products (VAPs).
* Providing leadership to the business line commercial teams in this area
* Manage annual budget to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and add value to the business
* Manage external creative and design agency to ensure plans are delivered on brand and provide value
* Manage PR agency to ensure strong trade press coverage in targeted titles
* Present marketing plans and activity internally to directors, managers and commercial teams as well as externally to key customers
* Responsible for ensuring regular product line social media content and plan
* Responsible for organisation and execution of customer events
