Main duties of the job o To assist members of the multi-disciplinary team to maintain children's and families' fundamental needs and ensure patient safety. o To carry out duties in support of the nursing and clinical team.o To assist with a range of non-clinical duties. o To support the nurse in charge in assessing children and young people once deemed competent and ESI training completed.o To be competent within their scope of practice and continue to develop through the acquisition of further skills, knowledge and competencies determined by the individual clinical area.
