Our client, a long-established manufacturer & supplier of pressed & assembled components to a multitude of industrial sectors, is seeking a talented Quality/Process Improvement Engineer to join their Production Engineering team.

Key Duties:
* Maintaining the Company Quality System
* Establishing, Implementing & Maintaining Quality awareness across sites
* Responsible for Continual Improvement activities to enhance the products and environment
* First & Last off Inspection
* Work with Cross Functional teams to Generate Manufacturing Inspection Test Plans
* Develop and Introduce SOP for Key Products
* Complete ISIR & PPAP
* Analyze Root Causes and Implement Corrective actions for Processes or parts that have concerns
* Continuously Improving Quality Procedures
* Prepare Regular Improvement reports for the Group Quality Manager
Knowledge and Skills:
* Previous experience in a Production Engineering environment and in a Quality / Inspection Role
* Good Knowledge of SPC
* Good Practical use of measuring equipment and measuring techniques
* Capable of making independent decisions, whilst being appreciative of other departments
* Excellent computer skills including Word & Excel
* Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
* Attention to detail
* Flexible and Trustworthy
