Registered Manager
Location: Stoke on Trent
Salary: £37000 to £43000
I am supporting a leading mental health charity in their search for a passionate Registered Manager to oversee a small residential care home supporting adults with complex mental illness in Stoke-On-Trent.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
2. Experience: 2+ years in operational management in health/social care.
3. Knowledge: CQC standards and person-centred service delivery.
4. Leadership: Effective supervision and management of staff.
5. Direct Experience: Supporting people with severe mental illness.
6. Agency Work: Experience with statutory agencies.
Key Duties:
1. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the care home.
2. Staff Supervision: Lead, supervise, and support the care team.
3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations.
4. Care Planning: Develop and implement person-centred care plans.
5. Budget Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and statutory agencies.
7. Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve service quality and outcomes.
