Static Paint/Bodyshop Technician

Automotive Repair Systems Ltd is one of the largest independent SMART Repair companies in the UK, with over 140 mobile and static paint technicians working on behalf of us. Due to our structured expansion programme, we are now seeking an additional static paint repair technician to be based on site at one of our Dealership Partners in Swindon.
The successful paint technician will service the daily SMART repair needs of our Dealership Partner, offering excellent earning potential. The successful candidate should have a valid UK driving licence, be physically fit, well presented, friendly, customer focused, and most importantly work to a high standard!
Successful applicants should expect to work Monday to Friday during Franchised Motor Dealer opening hours.
Additional Requirements:
1. A self-motivated individual able to work on their own initiative
2. Ideally, a minimum of 4 years paint experience (Preferably ATA/IMI/QAA and working to PAS 125 formats)
3. Good knowledge and application of fillers
4. Good knowledge and use of pin pulling and/or glue pulling equipment
5. Able to paint a minimum of 2 vertical panels and blend
6. Great attention to detail
7. Customer facing experience in former roles
8. Good command of Maths and English
9. Prepared to travel on a daily basis (from home to static location)
10. Able to be flexible with hours on occasion as required
11. Good timekeeper
All suitable applicants would be invited to meet us for a combined paint assessment and interview at our HQ in Orpington before any offer is made. Following this, further training and/or upskilling could be given relating to our company procedures and technical requirements, as appropriate.
