Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
The Health and Safety Advisor works closely with the business to guide, liaise and support the administration of the Health and Safety function and management systems.
Your Tasks
1. Support and guide the organisation to meet Health and Safety requirements and obligations.
2. Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders to influence and promote good H&S practice
3. Develop and maintain the company's health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring they are compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations.
4. Creating/Completing risk assessments, safe systems of work, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
5. Advise management on safety matters, including the implementation of safety initiatives, safety management systems, and safety performance indicators.
6. Provide safety training to employees, which could include inductions, manual handling, and DSE.
7. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, conduct root cause analysis with recommendations for corrective actions
