Role Overview
At DELLI, our suppliers are called "makers" or "sellers". Our seller team is responsible for purchasing/buying from our suppliers. As a Seller Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in driving efficiency and insights within our seller team. You will analyse seller and category data, optimise processes, and support sales strategy to ensure our marketplace operates smoothly and effectively. Working closely with seller, marketing, and operations teams, you will provide the data and insights that drive growth and improve performance across seller and food categories.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analytics & Reporting
o Analyse performance across different food categories, identifying trends and opportunities
o Develop dashboards and reports to track category sales KPIs, including GMV, growth rates, frequency, cross-purchase and customer retention metrics
o Provide actionable insights to leadership, helping to refine strategy and improve performance
2. Seller Onboarding Process Optimisation
o Improve and streamline DELLI's seller lead management and onboarding process (the process of integrating new sellers onto the platform)
o Support CRM (Hubspot) enhancements, ensuring data integrity and improving process automation
o Work with leadership to refine pricing, promotions and deal tracking
o Work with the warehouse team and Unleashed (our inventory management system) to ensure inventory flows efficiently and is compliant with Food Safety standards.
3. Cross-Team Collaboration
o Partner with marketing to track campaign effectiveness and seller acquisition trends
o Work with operations to ensure seamless goods in, compliance, fulfilment and customer experience
o Assist in training seller teams on best practices, CRM usage, and data-driven decision-making.
4. Forecasting & Planning
o Assist in commercial forecasting, quota setting, and category expansion planning
o Assist demand planning including forecasting seasonal spikes and determining weekly/monthly stock strategy, and work with the Stock Controller to ensure alignment between the forecast inventory holding and warehousing
o Reordering stock from sellers
o Conduct analysis to benchmark performance and identify growth opportunities
o Support commission and incentive structure analysis to align sales performance with company goals.
Who You Are
* Analytical & Detail-Oriented: You enjoy working with numbers, spotting trends, and making data-driven recommendations
* Process-Driven: You like improving workflows and making things more efficient
* Tech-Savvy: You have experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) is a plus
* Strong Communicator: You can translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical teams, and communicate well with cross-functional departments
* Problem-Solver: You take initiative to find solutions and improve sales processes
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or a similar role
* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools)
* Experience with CRM platforms is desirable (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
* Understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and performance metrics
* Previous experience in a marketplace or the food industry is a plus but not essential
