Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
with 1 hour lunch (unpaid).
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conduct
daily stock checks, report any discrepancies, and notify management of
stock replenishment requirements
* Electronically
record and receipt all stock delivered, issued and returned, maintaining accurate,
accessible records
* Prepare
all equipment and goods in advance of scheduled jobs
* Maintain
and care of all equipment, refurbishing returned stock either on-site or
by arranging repairs with an external service provider
* Ensure
good stock rotation with a first-in-first-out basis
* Move,
store and secure stock according to safe working practices
* Transfer
stock to other storage locations as required
* Maintain
good housekeeping practices for a tidy workplace and cleaning of
mechanical aids
* Perform
daily checks on all Fork Lift and Reach Trucks, reporting defects as
required
* Meet
Health and Safety requirements and compliances (HMC&E, ISO9001,
ISO14001) in all warehousing and associated areas
* Report
any accidents in line with Company guidelines
* Advocate
a safe working environment, including ensuring the correct safety clothing
is worn and associated areas
* Carry
out ad hoc duties as requested
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proficient
in using inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS) to track stock
levels, orders, and deliveries
* Experience
or certification in operating forklifts is desirable
* Previous
experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) is advantageous
* Ability
to work to schedules and flexibly manage jobs to meet customer
requirements
* Adhere
to quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards
* Efficient
in order picking in a fast-paced environment to accurately fulfil customer
orders
* Aptitude
for identifying and resolving stock discrepancies or equipment
malfunctions
* Commitment
to safety, product quality and housekeeping
* Collaboratively
work with other team members and communicate clearly to support the overall
warehouse operation
* Ensure
precision in recording stock levels and managing inventory
* Ability
to keep the warehouse tidy and manage stock rotation effectively
* Relevant NVQ or NCCISM certifications is adventageous
* UK
driving license
