Your new role Your main job as a support worker will be to work within the assisting residents with normal activities of daily living promoting independence and maintaining an individual's dignity and respect. Therefore, as well as carrying out tasks to ensure the smooth running of the home, you should also encourage service users to have confidence and high self-esteem, but most importantly for them to have fun. The shifts include domiciliary care, personal care, medication runs. The hours are flexible to work around you and include day and night shifts.
